The garden at Finchley Central has been doing incredible work this year, supplying plenty of vegetables for local food banks. To ensure we have rich, healthy soil which will support more crops next year, we are going to be spreading a thick layer of mulch over all the beds, allowing it to decompose over the winter, suppressing weeds and keeping in moisture.

We need every bit of help we can to get to get the compost in and shovel it across the garden. Please join us for some heavy work that will keep you warm on an autumnal day.
