Kew Gardens: Consultation

Great consultation on Friday the 17th at Kew Gardens.

Station staff, Kew Society members and Royal Botanical Gardens Kew representatives all were in attendance to review and explore the designs that were drawn up by Royal Botanical Gardens.

We had really positive feedback about bringing "Kew gardens to the station" and "creating a gateway into Kew Gardens".

Engaged locals signed up to the Kew Society to keep up with wider local events and projects and around 20 people signed up to Energy Garden to keep in the loop about the project progressing - either interested in volunteering to help maintain the station or to get involved in the initial planting.

Second Internship Taster Session

Great input from the second taster session of the Energy Garden internship. The next dozen young environmentalists came to the Dalston Curve Gardens to tell us about themselves and why they want to be part of this exciting new project. Everyone came up with great designs for a sustainable city and are looking forward to embarking on the community energy/community gardening programme over the coming months. Well done everybody!
